CANTON, OH - When the Eastern Kentucky Drillers host Northern Kentucky Saturday, each team will be without a starter after the Ultimate Indoor Football League (UIFL) announced suspensions due to the fourth-quarter altercation in their week 14 meeting.
EKY defensive back Marcus McClinton and NKY running back Maurice Douse will miss the season finale after being suspended for one game each. Both players were fined an undisclosed amount pursuant to the UIFL Playing Rules and Operations manual fine schedule.
The game marks the fourth time this season the two Kentucky teams have met on the gridiron. Northern Kentucky leads the series 2-1 with the home teams claiming all three wins.
