From the Cincinnati Commandos:
The Cincinnati Commandos Indoor Football team is looking to honor the brave men and women serving with the area police and fire departments, by offering a special discount to the next Commandos home game. The Commandos are back at the Cincinnati Gardens for a home game with the Dayton Silverbacks this Friday at 8:05 p.m. Any police or fire personnel can purchase tickets for their self and their family at half-price, by showing a valid ID. Tickets for this offer can only be purchased at the Cincinnati Gardens box office.
The undefeated and first-place Commandos (5-0) are coming off a 47-22 home win versus Port Huron, while Dayton comes in with momentum after a hard-fought 24-21 road win at Chicago. Cincinnati took the earlier season meeting at Dayton, with a 32-15 win on April 2. La Salle High School graduate and Bowling Green State University product Tyler Sheehan is expected to start at quarterback for the Commandos, as he negotiates a future contract with the Canadian Football League.
Single-game tickets for adults are priced at $12 and $17, with tickets for kids ages 10 and under priced at $7. All tickets (excluding Police and Fire promotion) are available at the Cincinnati Gardens Box Office, at all Ticketmaster Outlets including select Kroger stores, charge by phone at 800-745-3000 or online at www.ticketmaster.com.
