CANTON, OH—The Ultimate Indoor Football League is proud to announce its partnership with the Cincinnati-based brand design firm Traction. The UIFL and Traction agreed to a multi-year exclusive design partnership which will begin with the 2011 season, making Traction the official brand design firm of the UIFL and all member teams.“Building a high-quality and consistent image has been a priority for us since the planning stages,” said UIFL co-founder Andrew Haines. “Design work is important—in most cases, it’s the first impression we give the fans. We are excited to work with Tom, Tony, and the entire Traction staff.”
Traction designed all team logos and websites, as well as marketing materials for the 2011 season. As new teams join the UIFL, Traction will continue to create new high-quality logos, websites, and marketing materials.
“We wanted to ensure that the team names, logo and uniforms were engaging to fans,” said Tony Neary, partner at Traction. “We also wanted to ensure consistency and professionalism for a new league looking to establish itself, and for teams looking to connect to their respective communities.”
