CANTON, OH - The Ultimate Indoor Football League (UIFL) is proud to announced the addition of Michael D. Zyglis as Director of Officials for the 2011 season. Michael has been an NCAA official along with experience in indoor football in Arena1, Arena2, and the AIFL as well as the AIFA.
“Finding someone with the experience and dedication of Michael is a huge asset to the league. It was important for us to find someone that understands our vision, and will maintain the integrity of the game. Having worked with Michael before, we are really excited about his addition to our league.” Stated UIFL Co-Founder Andrew Haines.
“I think that the UIFL will be exciting for the fans as well as the players. It will bring a brand of football that will be entertaining as well as professional and full of action packed excitement. I look forward to working with my staff of experienced officials that have been time tested and have officiated numerous playoff games as well as conference championships games among them. This league is starting off with a solid team base, which will breed success as well as growth throughout the eastern part of the country, in the future seasons to come.” Said Director of Officials Michael Zyglis.
Mr. Zyglis will begin his new position effective immediately. His responsibilities include the hiring of all game officials, training of officials, scheduling of game officials, reviewing game reports and videos, and more.
