Two shut outs. Wow. I'm eager to hear what really happened at these games. Are the Outlaws poised to go back to back or are the Extreme just not that good? Are the Mustangs down or were the Tigers an improved team over last season's Tornadoes team?
Are the Ravens the same team I saw in Sioux City?
I could go on and on with questions but let's hear it from people who were there. What really happened?

I can tell you that the Lightning - Bulldog game went south for us for three main reasons. 1. One of our main RB's called me the night before the game to tell me he had to work and couldn't get out of it but had all the other Saturdays he needed off after this one. 2. Our center was injured in the beginning of the 3rd quarter and our back up center needs to work on getting the ball to the QB. After that, there were alot of miss cues and fumbled snaps, resulting in alot of turnovers. 3. If ALL our guys had come to practice consistently, they would have been on the same page. It was a good game tied 0-0 at the half. The second play of the game one of our receivers caught the ball in the end zone, had it for about half a second, then dropped it. We'll be working hard this week to remedy those three things as well as work on pass blocking AGAIN.

yeah, getting shut out always sucks.
But I could see where guys not showing up to practice could affect things. Normally when a guy doesn't practice, he doesn't play. Maybe it's different for you guys? Maybe you simply don't have enough guys to not play the non-practicing ones.

Actually, the whole reason I started this team was because I saw alot of guys who had some experience/talent that really wanted to play and got passed over or spent last season on the bench (Some of us, me included, started every game). I wanted to provide an opportunity for those guys to play. My motto early on was "Everybody plays". Thats beginning to change though. Although I'll still give everybody play time, I'm obviously going to have to play those with more experience more often.
