Here's an article I found about a player that some of us are familiar with. Omon played High School ball in Beatrice, NE and went on to play college ball at NW Missouri St. Nice article. Hope to see him succeed. www.democratandchronicle.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080806/SPORTS03/808060327/1021PITTSFORD — All Xavier Omon has to do is think about his mother, Delorise Omon-Brown, when his mind starts to wander and the sadness that no 23-year-old should have already had to endure begins to engulf him.
"I look to her for my strength and I think 'If she can make it, I can make it,'" said the Buffalo Bills rookie running back who has seen two older brothers pass away amidst tragic circumstances.
And throughout his remarkable college career at Division II Northwest Missouri State, Omon would use the strength gathered from his mother to tear opposing defenses to shreds.
"I use it on the field and I take it out on my opponents," he said. "Sometimes I'll be on the sideline thinking about my brothers and I'll take it out on them.''
Considering Omon is one of only two players in NCAA history to rush for at least 1,500 yards in four consecutive seasons, you'd have to surmise his mother is one pretty strong woman, and you'd have to pity the poor fools who were trying to tackle this inspired young man.....article continues in link.

I saw a little Omon, during the preseason.
Dare I say, he might possibly make a fine 3rd RB behind Marshawn Lynch and the man who would have never gotten a chance to shine in the NFL ,if United Indoor Football, used a(ridiculously) pass happy AFL type offense.
Thank God, for the premier league.
