Watch Terrell Owens' First Indoor Football League Game on ESPN3
Richmond, VA. - The Indoor Football League proudly presents a partnership with ESPN3 which will present the Allen Wranglers vs. the Wichita Wild matchup Saturday, February 25 at 7:05 p.m. CT.
The game which can be viewed, for free, on ESPN3.com features the debut of six- time NFL Pro- Bowler Terrell Owens for the Allen Wranglers. A 15- year NFL veteran, Owens is second in NFL history in receiving yards (15,934), tied for second in receiving touchdowns (153) and sixth in catches (1,078). Tune in to find out if he can carry his All-Pro NFL success onto a smaller field in the indoor game.
The Allen Wranglers led by 2010 IFL MVP Quarterback Bryan Randell will look to take down the Wichita Wild,who led by Quarterback Phil Stabach helped rally Wichita to win six of its last nine games in 2011. Wichita will look to contain Terrell Owens and a deadly Allen receiving core with Cornerback Kendrick Harper who was Runner-up Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2011.
Among a sold-out crowd at the Allen Event Center might also be NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders. Sanders verbally confirmed, last week, through ESPN that he will be in attendance.
IFL Commissioner Tommy Benizio stated that the partnership with ESPN3, "It Is an extremely exciting time in the IFL.
