#The 2011 Champion Albany Panthers and Phoebe Putney Health System announced today a partnership for the naming rights to the team's home field. The agreement, announced this morning from the Panthers headquarters, provides that the field will be called Phoebe Field at the Albany/ James H. Gray Civic Center beginning in the Spring of 2012.
#“Having the Phoebe name on the field signifies our good neighbor philosophy,” said Joe Austin, Chief Operating Officer at Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital. “The Panthers represent our community here and on the road. They are an important attraction for those of us who live here and for bringing visitors to our city with good wholesome fun and sports. We wish them a successful season.”
#As part of the extended agreement, Phoebe will receive field branding and become a sponsor of the Albany Youth Indoor Football League along with other benefits.
#“This was a great opportunity for the Panthers to create a unique platform with a partner that also has a deep commitment to the Albany community,” said Will Carter, Panthers general manager. “We hope Phoebe Field continues to give the team an important home field advantage while providing many exciting memories for our fans.”
