IFL Announces Vidswap.com IFL Players of the Week: Week Twelve
The Indoor Football League is proud to announce the Vidswap.com Players of the Week for Week 12 in the IFL. Each week the IFL selects three players, one from each phase of the game, offense, defense, and specials teams, whose play on the field stood out among the rest of the competition. The Week 12 Players of the week are listed as follows:
Offensive Player of the Week: Kevin Grady, RB, Chicago Slaughter
Grady has proven himself to be a force to be reckoned with for his rookie season in the IFL. As the Chicago Slaughter topped the Richmond Revolution, Grady's performance was stellar. Grady carried the ball 21 times for 135 yards and 6 touchdowns. Not only did Grady show great productive in his rushing game, but he also had 7 receptions for 37 yards. Grady's Week 12 performance shows why he is one of the top 10 rushers in the IFL currently.
Defensive Player of the Week: Ronnie Mason, DL West Texas Roughnecks
Mason's strong defensive performance in Week 12 helped the West Texas Roughnecks defeat the Arizona Adrenaline. Mason caused a great deal of interruption for the opposing team's offense while posting up points for the Roughnecks with 1 sack, 1 safety, and 1 interception, which was returned 14 yards for a touchdown.
Special Teams Players of the Week: Garrett Courtney, K, Allen Wranglers
Our week 12 Special Teams Player of the Week goes to kicker Garrett Courtney. Courtney was a major presence in assisting his team defeat the Nebraska Danger. Courtney was 3 for 3 in field goal attempts, and 5 for 5 in extra point attempts, and forced a rouge, which helped give his team the one point advantage to win the game.
