Lippincott surpassed 1,000 yards rushing twice during his days at Nevada, running for a career-high 1,420 yards and 15 touchdowns as a sophomore back in 2007.
He ran for 1,034 yards as a senior, averaging 7.7 yards per carry. He was one of three Wolf Pack players to reach 1,000 yards that season (along with Colin Kaepernick and Vai Taua.) It was the first and only time in NCAA history that has ever been done by a trio of teammates.
Lippincott battled numerous injuries during his college career. He had been trying to get into the NFL, but was barred from working out at Nevada's Pro Day in March. Due to the NFL lockout, only seniors were allowed to participate.
Lippincott finished his Nevada career with 3,014 yards and 34 ruishing touchdowns.
The Barons (1-1) next game is on May 6th at the Stockton Wolves. The Barons lost to Stockton last 57-19 last Friday here in Reno.
