Richmond, Virginia: The Indoor Football League is proud to announce the Vidswap.com Players of the Week for Week Ten in the IFL. Each week the IFL selects three players, one from each phase of the game, offense, defense, and specials teams, whose play on the field stood out among the rest of the competition. The Week Ten Players of the week are listed as follows:
Offensive Player of the Week: Arkelon Hall, QB, West Texas Roughnecks
The big, elusive, quarterback from Memphis has been on a roll. Hall has led the Roughnecks right to the top of their division at 6-2. Arkelon completed 19-27 passes for 281 yards and 7 touchdowns including one rushing touchdown in their game against the Venom, placing him at the top of our list for offense in week 10.
Defensive Player of the Week: Frankie Solomon, DB, Allen Wranglers
Coming off of a tough week last week, a recovering Solomon showed us what a little heart and determination can do. Solomon was recovering from the chicken pox this past weekend in his game against the Wichita Wild. In this game alone, Solomon registered 10.5 tackles, 1 for a loss, 1 interception for 26 yards returned for a touchdown. On top of his stellar defensive performance Frankie also returned 8 kicks for 148 yards and a 40 yard touchdown return.
Special Teams Player of the Week: Dennis Rogan, KR, Tri-Cities Fever
Rogan comes to the Tri-Cities Fever from the University of Tennessee. With his quickness and speed Rogan has exploded in the return game of the Indoor Football League. As our special teams player of the week for week 10, Rogan registered 8 kickoff returns for 171 yards and one for a 53 yard touchdown.
