Indianapolis at Cincinnati
The winless Indianapolis Enforcers hit the road to play at first place, undefeated and defending league champion Cincinnati at The Cincinnati Gardens.
The Enforcers had a bye week to regroup after losing its first two games 69-13 against Port Huron and 69-19 to the Dayton Silverbacks. The Commandos enter the game with impressive wins at 53-7 over Chicago in their home opener and an exciting 50-44 victory at Marion.
Cincinnati is led by a balanced attack that starts with quarterback Tyler Sheehan. Last week, Sheehan had an impressive game completing 24 of 36 passes for 237 yards and four touchdowns. Sheehan leads the league completing 35 of 56 passes for 372 yards and six touchdowns. His completion percentage is 62.5 percent. Running back Greg Moore is second in rushing in the league with 79 yards on 23 carriers. He is averaging 3.4 yards a carry and has scored two touchdowns.
The Enforcers have struggled offensively and defensively. On offense, Indianapolis is ranked fifth in the league in scoring and fifth overall in total offense. Indianapolis ranks third in total defense in the league. Currently, the Enforcers are giving up 156 yards per game rushing and second in pass defense giving up 60 yards.
Dayton at Port Huron
Dayton hits the road for the first time this season playing at Port Huron on Saturday night. Port Huron opened the season at home with a convincing 69-13 win over Indianapolis before dropping a 44-37 road decision at Marion. Dayton opened the season with 69-19 over the Enforcers.
Dayton will look to stay a half game out of first place while Port Huron looks to bounce back from a tough loss as it begins a stretch of four out of five games at McMorran Arena.
