Steelhawks to Host Pre-Season Party...Media and Fans Invited
Bethlehem, PA: The Lehigh Valley Steelhawks are proud to invite members of the local media and general public to the team's official pre-season party to be held on Friday, February 25th from 6-9 p.m. at THE FIREHOUSE, located at 217 Broadway in Bethlehem. The Meet and Greet will allow fans to get autographs from the 2011 Steelhawks players and wish them luck as they gear up to take on the Reading Express this Saturday night at the Sovereign Center in Reading at 7 p.m. Those fans who have already purchased season tickets will be able to pick up their packages at the event as well. The event is open to the public, and to fans of all ages.
"Our fans our definitely going to be our 9th man this season," stated Steelhawks Executive Vice President Mike Clark. "We want our fans to feel like they are a part of the team, and get to know these players at a more personal level. I look forward to seeing our season ticket holders, sponsors, and meeting anyone else eager to learn about the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks. This will be a great event to get our boys motivated before they take on Reading the following night in our first game in team history."
The Firehouse, located at the historic Lehigh No. 1 Engine House built in 1885, is the premier bar and social gathering place in Bethlehem, PA, AND WILL BE THE OFFICAL POSTGAME PARTY LOCATION FOLLOWING EACH AND EVERY STEELHAWKS HOME GAME.
Media members will be permitted to film and interview any dancer, player, coach, or front office member. The Indoor Football League (www.goifl.com) is a 22-team league based out of Richmond, Virginia with franchises in 15 states (including Alaska). The league holds a 14-game regular season schedule that runs February through June. The IFL's playoffs culminate in July with the IFL United Bowl.
