Amarillo, TX 2/15/11 - The wait is almost over and the chance to buy single game tickets to the Amarillo Venom home games is nearly here as single game tickets go on sale Friday February 18th.
Single game tickets for the Amarillo Venom can be purchased through the Venom offices, located at 901 S. Buchanan in downtown Amarillo, or by calling (806) 350-7277. Tickets can also be purchased at any United Supermarket location, the Civic Center box offices, or by visiting www.panhandletickets.com . Tickets to Venom regular season games start at just $16 a piece and those looking for group tickets can get a reduced rate.
Up to this point Venom fans have only had the opportunity to purchase season tickets and tickets to the exhibition game that is scheduled for Sunday February 20th. Michelle McFadden, the Box Office Manager for the Amarillo Venom, said single game tickets are good, but season tickets are the most inexpensive way to watch all of the venom home games.
"We encourage people to buy season tickets, because it is the most inexpensive way to watch all of the Venom home games" said McFadden. "Not only are you saving money by buying season tickets, you will also be sitting in the same seat every game."
Paul Ables, the Account Executive for the Venom, said another advantage of being a season ticket holder is you get access to certain things that non-season ticket holders don't.
"Single game tickets are good," said Ables, "but there are perks to being a season ticket holder. For example, there is a special meet and greet with former Dallas Cowboys Everson Walls and Drew Pearson on Sunday before the exhibition game. Only season ticket holders and corporate sponsors will be able to obtain a V.I.P. pass to go to the event."
The Amarillo Venom will play seven home games during the 2011 regular season and one exhibition game.
