So Tonga played for 7 years and never played the crapitols. He was not around when we swept them the last season they played. So that means CF4L was only 16 or younger when the craps died. Sucks to be CF4L.
Meanwhile we have enjoyed football every year since then, including some really good teams and an awesome run at a championship that didn't end well.
I gotta tell you CF4L, 4-12 is still much better than 0-0.

Well shoot, sounds like everyone should just throw in the towel now. I mean, the Bandits are just going to make everyone look like mighty mights.
Or.
We could look at the league as a whole and evaluate the teams like this post was intended instead or putting unrealistic posts.
1. Blackhawks-hard to say anyone else is better when they are two time defending champs, just saying 2. Bandits-yeah, they are good. It's not gonna be a cake walk. 3. Outlaws-played in the championship in their first indoor year. pretty good team that is returning a lot. 4. Koyotes-with the new coach, hard to say they will repeat as the stinker like last year. 5. Wolfpack-unstable coaching. will be competitive like always, but no championship this year.

When the Blackhawks win the APFL title (again), you'll have nothing to say.

I can vouch for CF4L as far as respecting Tonga and that he was just joking. I also understand Tonga's number 1 fan for sticking up for him, that's what wives do. Tonga's a great player and person, and us Beef fans loved having him in Omaha.
No matter who wins it all, it should be a good year.
I think adding the Bandits has been really good for the league.

I love reading these messages between fans and players. It is very entertaining. I don't comment but this time I just wanted to throw my 2 cents in. I have been around the indoor league since 1999 (2 years as a coach and 9 years as a player) and I am happy that it continues to grow.
1. Tonga is a great guy and a great athlete and I would find out where he is on the field at all times. I have played against him and at one point on the same team before I came over to the blackhawks years back. I have tons of respect for all the players in this league as they all have talent.
2. The comment about the Bandits are a pro team playing in a semi pro league got me thinking. The last 5 seasons the bandits did not have a winning record. Total: 23 - 50.. that isn't anything to brag about at all. Since 2000 they have had 4 winning seasons, 5 playoff appearances and ZERO championships. So I love the fact that the fans are bragging and are behind their team but it would be better if they were a winning team.
3. The Blackhawks have made the playoffs the last 5 seasons and if I can remember correctly, the last 3 or 4 championships. They have won the last two and have had a winning record each of the last 5 seasons.
I am excited for the season to start and Sioux City is a great addition. The competition is great in the APFL so don't sleep on any team in the league.
Thanks for being fans and supporting your team. Should be a great year. I love me some indoor football

Bad Bandits teams have 23 wins the past five seasons. That's 23 wins from a bad team against competition that is better than any team they will play this year. Send the trophy up I-29.

Yet despite all the bad the Bandits fans keep coming back. I think it will be tough battle .Blackhawks return alot of players who have been togther for awhile that makes a big difference.Koyotes always a solid team. You cant have a good ole rivalry unless the fans flip each other some crap though. That makes you really get into the game.

Koyotes always a solid team. Koyotes were 1-6 last year against Iowa, Mid-Missouri, and Springfield. The rest of their games were against non-league opponent creampuffs (yeah, that includes Junction City).

I am Tonga's #1 Fan... always will be. It gets really old having people talk trash about him when he has obviously proven himself year after year. It's funny that the ones talking trash do so behind a message board but are probably the ones that will be the nicest to him face to face. He left Sioux City for Omaha for a change of pace and when he realized the strain it put on his family life, it wasn't worth it to him. Funny thing is the trash talk bothers me more than him becuase he uses it as motivation to work harder. So I should probably thank all the haters for giving him the motivation to be as great as he always has been. if a player can't handle the fans getting after them a little then they shouldn't be playing the game. Some of the best (and worst) times I've had watching indoor football have come from player interaction. Its part of the game. I do my best to get into the opponent's heads some before and during the game, but I ALWAYS shake their hands and tell them good game win or lose afterwards. I don't pretend that I am capable of playing indoor football, but I sure as hell enjoy watching it. Heh! I think I remember an incident at an Iowa game a few years back where you and one of my son's friends got quiet really fast. That may have been one you have under your "worst" times interacting. Heck, I may have to start coming back to the indoor games if it means getting the chance to drink a cold one with BLZ once again!
