TRENTON STEEL PARTNER WITH TRENTON ORTHOPAEDIC GROUP
The Trenton Steel Indoor Football Team and Trenton Orthopaedic Group , P.A. announced a partnership in which the renowned group of physicians will provide the club's medical services in their specialties.
With Fellowship Trained Dr. William Gomez and his Sports Medicine background in the lead, TOG will be on the scene to handle the expected and possible medical situations associated with Indoor Football.
"We are thrilled to work with the Steel,'' said Gomez. "Our medical group at games will consist of Dr. Michael R. Duch, who will work the orthopaedic side with me, and, on the medical side, from two area practices, Drs. Joseph Mullane and Louis G. Fares II.
"Football can be a high-injury sport and we need to be ready.''
The quartet of physicians have years of service with Trenton's other professional teams.
Steel general manager Rich Lisk is pleased to have TOG and Gomez's group aboard in this role.
"I previously worked with Dr. Gomez and his associates when I was general manager of the Trenton Titans Hockey Club,'' said Lisk. "They are just what the Steel need in their corner.''
The Steel open their inaugural season in the Southern Indoor Football League March 19 at the Richmond Raiders, with their home-opener at 7:05 p.m. March 26 at the Sun National Bank Center in Trenton.
Season tickets, which start as low as $60, are available. Information can be obtained by calling the Steel offices at 609-656-3300 or on the team's Web site at www.trentonsteel.com. Single-game tickets are available by phone, at the Sun National Bank Center ticket windows, or on-line at www.comcastttix.com.
