Bethlehem, PA: The Lehigh Valley Steelhawks are excited to announce that Bucksmont Indoor Sports Center in Hatfield will be the "Official Practice Facility" for the Indoor Football League franchise for the 2011 season. With training camp beginning this weekend, then the start of a regular practice schedule, the Steelhawks Coaching staff couldn't be more thrilled then to have a facility to call their own.
"Bucksmont is an amazing facility," stated Head Coach Rich Britt. "Not only will they be providing us with the practice time as we strive for a championship this season, but we also get the opportunity to work with many of these youth leagues and build bonds in the community. Our players will absolutely love the accommodations, as will our fans who we are allowing to watch Steelhawks practices this season."
The team will kick off their first official open practice in what the team is calling MIDNIGHT MANIA. All media and fans will be permitted inside Bucksmont starting at midnight Sunday morning, February 9th and stay until 8 a.m. throughout the whole practice.
