Not including amongst the "local" talent are some outstanding and accomplished football players. Former Louisville Cardinal Tony Stallings, who has played in the Canadian Football League, Arena Football and won an European Super Bowl, has signed on with the team in its inaugural season.
On the college level, Thomas More College leads the way with three former student-athletes - quarterback Seth Ellis, defensive lineman Luke Scarborough and kicker Dustin Zink - will enter training camp. Two players - receivers Brandon Boehm and Sean Malofronte - have won National Championships with Division III powerhouse, Mt. Union.
