Kent Head Coach Keith Evans is pleased to announce two former NFL WRs, Aaron Straiten and veteran Maurice Bryant. Straiten was the leading WR for the La Crosse Spartans of the IFL in just seven games during the 2010 season. Aaron was with the San Francisco 49ers all four pre-season games of the 2008 season before being released. Coach Evans says "Aaron is very hungry to get back to the NFL. At 24yrs old this is the type of talent we want here in the Puget Sound area. Straiten was signed as a free agent out of UNLV where he was an all league performer. Maurice Bryant is a veteran who was an all-league WR at Houston University before being drafted and spending two years with the the Tennessee Titans. Maurice then went to the AFl where he was an Offensive Specialist going both ways for several years due to league rules. Most recently Maurice led the Wenatchee Valley Venom, now with the IFL in TD receptions with 20 TD's in 2010. Maurice is also an actor with spots in three feature films including the remake of the Longest Yard, Invisible, and We Are Marshall.
