Final Blizzard Tryout for 2011 Season Scheduled
January 27, 2011 - Indoor Football League (IFL) Green Bay Blizzard
Green Bay, WI - The Green Bay Blizzard and Head Coach Rik Richards announce their final open tryout for the 2011 season. This tryout will also include kickers. The tryout is to be held at the historic Brown County Arena at 1901 S. Oneida St. in Green Bay. The camp will be Saturday January 29th, 2011. Registration and warm-up for position players will begin at 8:00am with the tryout starting at 9:00am. The kicking portion of the tryout will start with registration at 7:30am and the tryout will start at 8am. All kickers are encouraged to attend. The registration fee to tryout is $50. (Cash or credit card only)
Coach Richards comment on the tryout saying, "I look forward to getting on the field and finding players to bring a championship caliber team to the people of Green Bay, you simply don't know where the next great player will come from."
The Brown County Arena is a historic site in Green Bay, and will have the Blizzard turf down for the final work out. Athletes of all skill levels are encouraged to tryout and live their dream of becoming a professional football player. Players must bring their own workout attire for the indoor facility, no cleats allowed. All players must be 18 years of age or older to tryout. Be prepared to be evaluated in the following drills: 40-yard dash, 20-yard shuttle, four cone drill, agility drills, position-specific drills and 8-on-8.

The Green Bay Blizzard are proud members of the Indoor Football League (IFL). The reigning Central North Division Champions play all home games at the Resch Center in Green Bay, WI. The Blizzard will bring up to 45 players to training camp that will open in February with 30 players making the final roster.
2011 Season tickets are on SALE NOW and the season opener is Friday March 18th against the Bloomington Extreme. The home opener will be a St. Patrick's celebration and we will be giving away 2,000 kelly green Blizzard caps presented by Bud Light to adults 21 and over!
