Eddie Gant, 5'10" 180 lbs. defensive back from Blinn College joins the Extreme following a 2010 season in which he played and started five games with the West Michigan ThunderHawks of the IFL, registering 12 tackles and an interception. The Fort Myers, FL native started 10 games at cornerback and was a kick and punt returner at Blinn College, collecting 25 tackles and 2 interceptions.

With these two signings, the Extreme roster now stands at 24 players announced as part of the 2011 training camp roster. IFL training camp rosters consist of 45 players.
The Bloomington Extreme will open training camp Sunday, February 13, 2011 and kick off the season two weeks later, Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the U.S. Cellular Coliseum against the Richmond Revolution with a 3:05 pm start time.
