Harrisburg Stampede Announce Great Opportunity for Fans, Charities
HARRISBURG, PA (November 16, 2010) - John Morris, Co-Owner of the Harrisburg Stampede, announced today the John Morris Foundation has teamed up with Viridian Energy to bring area football fans and other consumers a great way to save money on their monthly energy bills, while helping a worthwhile cause.
"I am extremely pleased to team with a great company like Viridian Energy and also be able to provide assistance, through our Foundation and generous donations provided by Viridian, to the area's abused children and battered women," commented Morris.
Viridian Energy is a socially responsible energy company providing greener electricity at an affordable price. Viridian was founded with the vision to empower its customers to make a difference in the environment and their personal lives simply by switching energy providers.
Between now and December 31, 2010 any customers who switch to Viridian Energy from their current provider will receive an additional 10% off their first month's bill, plus their monthly savings from Viridian's affordable energy options.
For every person who switches energy providers, Viridian will donate $2 to the John Morris Foundation for every month the consumer maintains their service. A portion of these donations will go to area charities which support abused children and battered women, along with other charities.
To sign up for these savings and to support the Foundation go to www.viridian.com/jmfoundation.
"I am excited to work with John Morris and introduce the Viridian Energy Opportunity through the Harrisburg Stampede and the John Morris Foundation. There are no losers with Viridian Energy, the Stampede can give back to their fans, the fans have the ability to save money on their utility bills with no contracts, risk or obligation, and each month those customer's pay their bill, Viridian donates money to the John Morris Foundation for a great cause. This is truly a win-win for everyone involved," stated Mark Houck an Associate with Viridian Energy.
