Southlake, TX –The Southlake Piratres announced today Defensive Back Ryan Muhlman has re-signed to play with the Pirates in 2011.
Muhlman, a rookie stand-out last season with the pirates, made the All-I.I.F.A. team in 2010. In indoor football having a DB as one of the teams leading tacklers is not rare because the ball is thrown so often. However, due to his tenaciousness, Muhlman is always around the ball. He also finished the season with 4 interceptions, 4 forced fumble and 2 blocked field goals.
The SW. Assembly of God in product was a major part of the Pirates special teams as a kicker.
"Ryan worked hard and showed his dedications to the team by commuting from his home town of Waco, Tx to practice. His knowledge of the game and intensity on the field is something that is hard to find. This season basically we’re going to count on him to bring along some of the younger guys that we will have this season." said Talons Head Coach Dautrel Manos.
Pirates’ season tickets go on sale November 8, for as low as $24. The Pirates will once again play all home games at Stampede Arena in the beautiful city of Southlake.
