Green Bay, WI: The Green Bay Blizzard Professional Football Team is pleased to announce its 2011 Indoor Football League schedule. The Blizzard will be entering its second season in the IFL after a successful 2010 campaign. The IFL will compete with 22 teams participating in two conferences. The United Conference and Intense Conference are split into 3 divisions each, with teams playing a fourteen game regular season schedule.
Green Bay will compete in the newly named Great Lakes Division within the United Conference and the Blizzard will continue to grow its rivalries with conference foes the Bloomington (IL) Extreme, Chicago Slaughter and the La Crosse Spartans. Chief Operating Officer Art Clarkson was very pleased with the schedule saying "We have an outstanding schedule. We are playing basically every other week at home and we have great balance with four Friday night games and three Saturday night games. In addition, we will be moving all start times to 7:30pm to give all our fans, including fans from the Fox Valley and other outlying areas, more time to get to the arena."

The Blizzard will bring up to 45 players to training camp that will open in February with 30 players making the final roster.
