"After what's happened in the past, this makes it that much sweeter," Huntington Heroes offensive lineman Chris Barnes said after the Heroes routed the Legends, 49-6, in an American Indoor Football Association game in front of 1,075 fans (estimated) on Saturday night at Big Sandy Superstore Arena. "That's the only way to describe it."
Barnes is one of the few Heroes players who's been around the past two seasons, when Canton went 5-0 against the local team. I just love seeing a changing of the guard. It's good for the sport. In this case the team on top happens to be my mommies home team so maybe I'm showing a little bias.
