So after seeing how the CPFL doesn't things in their neck of the woods, I happened to drive past one of the several outdoor hockey rinks that are in the area, the light bulb went on...has it ever been tried.. you could but up some large bleachers on either side of the rink...It *might* work.. semi-pro bush league stuff to be sure... but still
if nothing else.. sounds like a lot of fun for a pickup game..

I believe a Florida NIFL had to play on a tennis court in 03 or 04.

I am telling you it would be exciting, we all love indoor football, and in the nice sunny weather, it would make it 10x better

CF4L, I am not sure, with the NIFL there was always another crazy rumor evry week. that is absolutely correct. The rumors kept on coming until there was no more NIFL left. Actually, the rumors have kept going even during the NIFL's death!!!

It was one issue after another with the tennis facility. They were always a week from starting to play an actual game in Palm Beach on the tennis court. One week it was "we mean it this time", the next week it was "we really mean it this time". In the end, it seems that they didn't really mean it.

there is actually some nice tennis courts to play at around the us.
The league would have to be in places with good weather, for example Buffalo could never have a team that played in March, too damn windy and cold

I believe a Florida NIFL had to play on a tennis court in 03 or 04. It was Palm Beach during the 2006 season. As fwp pointed out, they played a few road games but no home games.

NO, I do not. Like I said the thought reeks of semi-proness and bush league... but I still think it would be fun to watch... Out of the question in this part of the country this time of the year however.

I am sure it could be done down south
and some of us would love to sit in the sun and watch rather than an arena
