Carr was ejected in the final minute of Bloomington’s 35-21 loss at Green Bay three weeks ago. Although the Extreme had a bye the following week, the team was not notified of the suspension until two days before last week’s game against Chicago.
The Extreme appealed so Carr could coach against the Slaughter, pushing the suspension to this week. Assistant Ted Schmitz said he and Dusty Burk will coach from the press box with Jim Johnson handling of on-field coaching duties.
“We’re going to all be hooked up, and I’ll be more involved than I have been,” said Schmitz. “We’ve done it before and it won’t be any problem. It’ll be more of a collective.”
