The Wichita Wild took a 43-20 lead and went on to a 57-20 victory over the Spartans.
La Crosse also lost quarterback Jimmy Sangster in the second quarter to what is believed to be a torn medial collateral ligament.
CLARIFICATION: Defensive lineman Dempsey Miller was placed on the inactive list for Friday's game. Miller, who also played for the La Crosse River Rats and La Crosse Night Train, is eligible to play this season.
