Hi all! You might notice that my name now comes up in red and the brief sign under NEWS that initial shares of IFF are being sold through Jan 1. New members, owners, players, businessmen/women, and all: don't miss this great opportunity. For what is considered a nominal amount you can own a part of the site and help grow this site. Many had family plans during recent meetings and many are new faces. So you can get in the game with a PM to Hawkeye. . Merry Christmas to all. Happy holidays to others and for each of your families, have a happy and healthy New Year.

Also investors and staff...you will see an area on the message board that others do not. Please let me know if you do not see this or if you do not know how to get into this area. Thanks!

Happy new year folks. Today is the last day to become an investor in IFF. If I have not heard from you by the end of today you will have to wait until the next round of investing.
Those who have already invested will have a chance to grab more shares between tomorrow and June 1st. June 1st we will open up our next round of investing.
If you have any questions or would like to commit to shares today please send me a PM or e-mail me at Hawkeye647@hotmail.com .

Just a final recap on the first round of investors. The first round went very well and we have the first set of investors on board and already making decisions and assisting in getting the new site up and ready to roll by the end of this month "hopefully". We had 30 total voting shares (it's not the stock market folks so we went a little less technical) out at the beginning of all of this. We have sold 12 voting shares so far. That leaves 18 shares still outstanding. Current investors will be able to purchase more shares but others will have to wait until the next round of investing. So if any of you are interested in purchasing shares of IFF please let me know. I will make sure you are kept in the loop as far as the next round of investing goes. I want to thank the first round investors as they see the promise and potential this site has to be something very big. We are always looking for help from people who may not have the money to invest but have the time to invest. We are working on finding ways to reward people who make the commitment to be IFF staff (which will probably include IFF Gear). If you have any questions or comments please ask them here or also PM me. Thanks! Jeremy Poore CEO/Founder - www.indoorfootballfan.com

I had a question for the Investors:
What are you guys plan on doing to increase IFF's exposure throughout indoor football beyond the APFL. One of the major criticisms of IFF is that it is way too heavy to the APFL (understandable, as many of the posters here are APFL fans) and that if people were to get involved here their team's leagues would need more exposure here.
Are the powers that be planning on sending out feelers to see if leagues are interested in working with IFF? I know a lot of teams send info to Our Sports Central and I'd like to see IFF get that same sort of stuff sent here.
Also, I don't pretend to know all of the logistics of everything (and I'm not an investor yet), but how much would it cost to get advertisments on some of the league websites (if the league websites would have us).

Are you sure the board isn't APFL-slanted because the APFL is the only league truly covered by the IFF site historically? Fans of the professional leagues have other boards they can frequent (except the IFL, which doesn't have a message board fan-base). The APFL, CPFL, and IIFA will get good support here, because this is the only site that covers any of them. It's going to take a lot of work (and perhaps a buyout of the DTF and UIFans site) to get any other league's fans to come here first.

That's not hard - just get the media people that send the stuff out to add the IFF email address to their contacts.

I know at one point I went to more than one site for my indoor football news and talk. Second post- Sounds good to me.

This site was built on live scoring. Believe me I would LOVE to get rid of the message board.
1. We have covered many leagues for the entire time we've been here. Now it's a matter of getting league support and we are working towards that this season.
2. We are working on many more offerings this season that will combine many leagues. Including stats and standings that give league comparissons rather than just pointing to the league site for info.
3. IFF already is on all league's contact lists. We are working to expand that to teams on an individual basis. That takes fans to help with that. We are looking for a couple of fans to help us with this by reaching out to all the leagues and working with them to get the inside info.
On top of all of that we're working on some things that will make us very unique. There will be no buy out of DtF because it's not going to be worth what is asked for it. Instead we will look at possibly buying domains and creating extensions of IFF and promoting those via e-mail.
It's going to take time to rebuild...but I see 2008 as a stellar year for IFF.

I will work on a better formulated response tonight. I am in the middle of 10 things here at work so rereading that...seems kind of scattered. I wanted to address more in depth a few of the points that Exit has raised along with some of your questions. I can assure you that this season we will work our hardest to make it our best though.

Look at the AFL ... just as an example of a road that's been traveled before.
They have their own fan based(official) messageboard at AFL.COM AND ...
Arenfan.com has an additional fanbase of posters on their boards. Many post on both boards with equal aplomb.
To suggest that dtf or UIFFAN.com need be bought out is delusional, as the above example is proof positive that more than one accesible messageboard is viable.
Indoor Football needs more widespread exposure to boost it's popularity.
Till then the actively posting fanbases will have a tendency to be sparse.
Those extra fan boards IMHO help the game get the exposure it needs.

Mr. Poore could you maybe send me over a PM on about how much someone would have to invest in order to receiver one share or stock of IFF.
Thank You

Let me start over with a proper reply to the questions and issues that were brought up previously.
IFF is truly partnering with other leagues out there. You'll be hearing some major announcements in the near future about some of these partnerships. You're going to see some things that will be different than other sites. And you're going to see some things that will be the same as what sites like OSC are doing.
When IFF started we pioneered many things. In fact many sites have tried to do what we did in the beginning. We had a scrolling ticker and the next thing you know everyone and their dog had one. We had live and up to date scoring and now many leagues offer this as a service to their fans. Even our tag line has been used by other sites.
The problem is IFF can not be run by one person. It's more than a full time job and the site needs dedicated fans to assist with it. We are working on a rewards program that will reward fans for assisting with the site. We are also working with league reps to make sure their leagues are covered as much as we can get them covered.
The bottom line is IFF is in a period of sink or swim. I know I personally debated on letting this site go away. But with the investors we currently have and the help that has been offered we will be moving to a new level and I think that many fans will see the results and come back to visit IFF on a daily basis.
IFF is going to be much more than just a message board. But even on that note you will see some changes on the message board.
All in all this site is in a position to do great things. And now that dedicated people have invested money, time, and ideas those great things can start happening a lot sooner than later.
As far IFF communicating with leagues...we are doing that. We have a long ways to go to get to where we need to be in that area. But all in all we are getting there. Like I said before...there are some big things in store for those who frequent this site. We're glad you choose to come here for your indoor football fix. And if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to raise those or to ask.
