blog.pennlive.com/patriotnewssports/2009/06/stampede_look_ahead_to_next_ye.htmlDespite a 4-9 record and a rough year at the gate, the first-year Harrisburg Stampede are planning to return next season.
Pat Kerwin, executive director of the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex and Expo Center, said earlier this week that plans are already in the works with the Stampede for rebooking the arena for next season.
"We are absolutely thrilled to be the home base for the Stampede," Kerwin said. "We're working on dates with them right now.
"I feel they are great people to work with and, very professional and are good business for the Farm Show Complex. When they say that they're in it for the long haul, we believe them. It's a win-win situation for Harrisburg."
