blog.pennlive.com/patriotnewssports/2009/05/stampede_sign_qb_ashburn.htmlThere will be another starting quarterback this week for the Harrisburg Stampede.
Former Columbus (Ga.) rookie signal-caller Bill Ashburn was signed by Harrisburg, which also released former starter A.J. Roque Wednesday before practice. Ashburn is expected to start Saturday when the Stampede take on the D.C. Armor at 7 p.m. at Arooga's Field at the Farm Show Arena.
Ashburn will replace recently signed Ramon Robinson, who suffered a dislocated left shoulder in the 37-27 loss to the Baltimore Mariners last week. Former Bishop McDevitt ace Jeremy Ricker will be the No. 2 quarterback for the game.
