www.theadvertiser.com/article/20090428/SPORTS/904280312/1006When Mudbug season-ticket holder Aaron Hebert sat down with his family Saturday night in Blackham Coliseum, he wasn't exactly sure what to expect.
Sure, he'd seen arena football on television, but he'd never been sitting just a foot away from the playing field.
"I think I first heard about it on the radio and we called right away to get season tickets," said Hebert, who owns Acadiana Coatings Supply Inc. "I just enjoy being around the entertainment in Lafayette.

The game itself couldn't have gone much better as far as getting people excited. The Mudbugs jumped out to an early lead, the defense played strong and the pass combination of Bo Bartik to Anthony Parks was born during their rout of the Texas Pirates 38-12.
"That No. 4 (Parks)," said Hebert, "he's awesome."
Parks finished the home opener with four touchdowns, three on passes from Bartik.
"Bo (Bartik) is a great quarterback. He put the ball where it needed to be, I just had to go out and do my job," Parks said.......article continues in link.
