www.njrevs.comWhile Morristown celebrates its Revolutionary War history this weekend, a Revolution of a different sort will be on display in nearby Morris Township.
The New Jersey Revolution will battle the Lebanon Valley Cardinals, a new franchise in the Continental Indoor Football League on Saturday at 7 p.m. in Mennen Arena.
"They will be coming here deep," said Anthony Defalco, Revolution defensive end. "They will be bringing in 30 talented guys."
The Cardinals will be playing their first game ever, led by head coach Alonzo Jones.
The Revolution (2-0) has gotten off to a strong start this season, winning 77-18 against the East Penn Sting and 62-0 against the New York State Broncos.
"If we get a shutout twice, hats off to us," said Al Forysthe, Revolution head coach. He is confident his players will keep the winning streak going. "The will to prepare is the will for victory," he said.
Tickets can be purchased at Mennen Arena for $10.
