Surly is good in football, and the Ogden Knights hope a little edge will put them in a position to earn their first-ever win on Saturday when they host the Utah Valley Thunder at the Golden Spike Events Center.
"We need a win bad," owner/coach Mike Mink offered on Wednesday as the Knights looked forward to their weekend matchup with the Orem-based team in what both new AIFA squads hope turns into an thrilling rivalry. "A win would set a great tone for the rest of the season.
Game time for the contest -- billed as the War on I-15 -- is 7 p.m.
An Easter egg will be held on the field at 6:25 p.m., an children ages 8-and-under can participate.
Mink said the Knights added former University of Utah offensive lineman Corey Seiuli this week. The 6-foot-3, 325-pound Seiuli will start at left guard for the Knights.......article continues in link.
