www.standard.net/live/sports/168835/With a rematch against the AIFA Western Division champion Wyoming Cavalry on tap tonight in Casper, Wyo., the Ogden Knights addressed a few defensive issues this week, signing a trio of players.
Owner/coach Mike Mink announced Wednesday the team had signed LeRoy Kelly Jr., son of hall of famer LeRoy Kelly, former Weber State defensive back Terrell Cloud, and indoor football veteran Andre Bishop to contracts.
All three are expected to be in action tonight when the Knights meet the Cavalry at 7 p.m., at the Casper Events Center.
"We've revamped the defensive backfield," Mink said. "With an expansion team we're working to be a complete team by Week 5. I feel like we made great strides, but seven turnovers in two games is not going to get it done."
Mink also announced that Brendon Doyle will start at quarterback tonight......article continues in link.
