www.standard.net/live/sports/167822/Brendon Doyle, a senior on the Big Sky Conference champs last season, saw his first action in a long time Monday night at Golden Spike Arena, where he and his Ogden Knights teammates wound up on the short end of a 42-37 loss to the New Mexico Wildcats. It was the Knights’ inaugural game, and while it certainly was rough around the edges — Golden Spike needs just a little help to become a true indoor football venue — it sure was exciting. Ogden fell behind early, fought back, took a lead, then lost it. The Knights rallied in the second half and had a chance to win the game in the final minute of play. Doyle, who turns 23 in just a few days, admitted he had a good time out there. “That was some fun, I liked it,” he said. Of course he also admitted he was a little rusty. “I’m going to be honest with you,” he added. “It’s my first arena game ever. But next week, and next game, we’re going to keep getting better and better.”......article continues in link.
