The Phantoms lifted the AIFA Bowl trophy last July after a decisive 48-12 win over Wyoming.
In today's Patriot-News, James Phillips writes that the defending champs aren't taking the rookie squad lightly, especially considering the Stampede's 46-26 January exhibition win against the AIFA All-Stars.
The Phantoms offensive coordinator, Terrell Stewart, told Phillips:
We're looking for a dogfight because I see that the Stampede have a lot of athletes. We know that we have to bring our A game every week because teams are going to be coming after us. Stewart noted Harrisburg's recent signing of former Cowboys and Falcons quarterback Woody Dantzler as evidence of the Stampede's strength.......article continues in link.
