deseretnews.com/article/1,5143,705288254,00.html OREM — The Utah Valley Thunder, Utah County's professional indoor football team, made a calculated decision earlier this week to move their home opener from a Thursday to a Monday.
After discussions with their opponent, the Wyoming Cavalry, and management at the McKay Events Center, the Thunder will kick off their inaugural seven-game AIFA home season on Monday, March 23, at 7 p.m. at the McKay Events Center located on the campus of Utah Valley University.
"Playing football on Monday nights is definitely something that pro football players take pride in," Utah Valley Thunder coach Chad DeGrenier said. "This is a great way to open the home schedule, and we're playing a formidable opponent so it will be a great game,".....article continues in link.
