“I want my kids to go on the field and have a positive experience,” Turfcats General Manager/Vice-President Ronald Oswalt told the crowd at the group's weekly meeting at Grin's restaurant. “Anything we can do to give back to our community is why we are here. I want that local feel.”
Turfcats Head Coach Chris Duliban explained the differences the between the “fastest game on the turf” and traditional football.
“Our game is a little different,” he said. “It is like nothing you have ever seen in your life. You get use to seeing football from way back…You go in an arena and you are 28 yards from the other sideline. It looks surreal.”
