His plans, however, were forced to change once the league announced in December it would suspend its 2009 season, just weeks after Dean signed to kick for the Destroyers.
Earlier this month, Dean signed to play this season with the American Indoor Football Association’s Carolina Force, a team based out of Greenville, and again appears to have an immediate future in professional football.
“Columbus, it would have been in a big arena league team, but then this opportunity came,” Dean said. “When God closes a door, he opens a window.
