White, a native of Columbia, has been working for over two years to bring the wall-to-wall action of indoor football back to Greenville.
On Monday afternoon, White announced the arrival of the Carolina Force.
"This is a great area for minor league sports." White said. "It's a fast, impact game. The walls don't move. It's excitement. The fans will love it."
The Force will open its season in March and will play its home games in the Bi-Lo Center, which housed Greenville's past two football franchises, the Carolina Rhinos and the Greenville River Hawks.
