But unfortunately for the Barracudas Saturday night in the Smuggler's Den of the Lake Charles Civic Center, they weren't good enough to prevent the Swashbucklers from clinching their second consecutive regular season IFL title.
Louisiana quarterback Alvin Bartie threw five touchdown passes, three to wide receiver Shawn Piper as the Swashbucklers (12-0) proved to be too much for the Barracudas for the third time this season, knocking off CenTex, 45-32.....article continues in link.
