Amarillo, TX 2/23/12: The Amarillo Venom dancers, known as the Vixens, will be traveling to Groom, TX on Friday, February 24th to judge the Groom Junior and High School cheerleading tryouts at 2:00pm.
Groom Junior High cheerleading sponsor, Cindy Babcock said, "We are so excited to have the Vixens as judges for our tryouts. Having outside judges of this caliber will allow us to put together cheerleading squads that have the best abilities, rather than on the basis of popularity only. Their decision will be combined with the votes of our student body, so the kids have a say also. We are excited about the new "Venom Era", especially since Stephanie is one of our own. She was a cheerleader here for six years."
The Vixens are very excited to be traveling to Groom to interact with the young women of Groom Junior High and High School. The Vixens would like to wish luck to all the girls trying out!
Past Groom cheerleader and Groom cheerleading sponsor, now current Owner and GM of the Amarillo Venom, Stephanie Tucker said, "Getting involved in high school organizations is where it all starts."
Those who are interested in having the Vixens judge tryouts, make appearances, performances, or attend any event please call our office or visit the Venom website, www.govenom.com, and fill out the request form.
