Amarillo, TX 2/20/12: The Amarillo Venom has added several new players to their 2012 football team, and is excited to be building up the roster with some amazing and talented athletes to help bring home a championship.
Curry Allen is from St. Francisville, Louisiana. He went to college at Southern University, and has played wide receiver, deep snapper, and strong safety.
Kyle Christian is from San Diego, California. Kyle played for San Diego Mesa College as a quarter back where he was named to the Pre Season Top 10 Junior College Quarter Backs.
Darrel Crump is from Easton, California. Darrell attended Mesa Community College and Morgan State University. In the AIFA, he played for the Utah Valley Thunder as a running back.
Raymond Johnson is from Amarillo, Texas. Venom veteran, Raymond, went to West Texas A&M University where he played for the Buffs for two years. He has previously played for the Venom in the IFL.
Katrel Larkins is from Emporia, Kansas. Katrel played football for Emporia State University for four years as a line backer. After college he played for the Kansas Koyotes for one year in the APFL.
Rickey McKinley is from Austin, TX. Rickey went to Angelo State University and played three years of football serving on special teams.
Travis Russell is from San Antonio, TX. Travis played defensive end and defensive tackle for two years at Eastern Illinois University.
Doug Williams is from Mountain View, California. He went to Oklahoma Panhandle State University playing wide receiver. Doug then went on to play for the Nebraska Danger in the IFL for one year.
