You know dublinske I have to disagree with you a little here. SC was TERRIBLE in the IFL..look it up..history speaks for itself. In the APFL last year, they didn't have much competition. I think it's a little too early to be predicting another championship. The new Tulsa team has already gotten and probably will get a few more players from the AFL level and the Tulsa Talons. Also, there is alot of talent in the Tulsa and surrounding area in Oklahoma. I guarantee you that you have no idea the amount of talent there. In fact, there's a semi-pro team in Tulsa that could beat SC. There will be many great players who will get turned away simply because there are roster limits. Tulsa may just be the competition SC needs to not make this another runaway season. Just my opinion....also besides Tulsa, I've looked at some of the other signings so far and there will be more talent for these teams across the board, so I don't think it will be as sure a thing as you are making it.

Tulsa will have a very good team. I think Wyoming will as well as long as they bring some of their NIFL talent with them. I'm not sure what to think of Colorado yet. They seem like a semi-pro team moving to an indoor league, but I could be completely wrong about that. I'm just going off their website.
It will be a four team race. If CB stays healthy, they will be competitive. I think Wyoming will be competitive and I think SC and Tulsa will be the teams to beat.
Tulsa will be interesting. I have some knowledge of their fanbase, and if their season goes anything like I think it will, I don't see the Defenders lasting long in the APFL. I don't think their fans will pay money to see blowouts every week but one or two. They've had a very good brand of football the past few years with the Talons. SC will run into this problem this year as well. I know several people who give the Bandits all the credit in the world but refuse to pay to watch them anymore because the competition was so poor last year. The best thing for the league is to keep adding competitive teams or the good teams are going to have to leave or call it quits in the long run.

I agree with exit and bandito. Exit the IFL costs over 150,000 just to get in the door. The AFL/AFL2 Talons problem was too much spending and not much in return, especially difficult to play in a nearly 18-20,000 seat arena and avg. attendance is less than 4 or 5,000 fans/game. The rent is still the same, thus you lose LOTS of money. I think Wyoming will be good the addition of Lemans Cassimier may be the steal of the league and perhaps could end up being the BEST WR in the league. Lemans was a former IFL All-Pro with the EL Paso Generals a few years ago. I'm not partial to any of these teams, so I keep up with all of them. Watch out for Tulsa, SC, Wyoming, CB, yet don't count out Kansas because if Coach B is back I think he can turn things around after the strong finish last year. I do agree there needs to be mnore competition in the league for the fans to continue to support it at the highest level.
