BINGHAMTON - The Binghamton Indoor Football team is proud to announce their fourth signing for the 2012 season. Binghamton has added Patrick Olchovy, a wide receiver with Division 1 experience, who becomes the second wide receiver signed for camp along with Jamel Harris. While Patrick enjoys playing football it is not his main occupation as he currently is a police officer in Suffolk County, New York.
Olchovy is 5'8" 198 pounds and brings explosive speed and strength to the Southern Tier. He played his college football at the University of Hawaii from 2003-2006. While indoor football is a new game to Olchovy, he is excited to be playing in his first season right in his backyard in the Empire State.
The Binghamton indoor football family is excited about bringing a professional minded individual to the franchise. "Having a law background showcases his dedication to the state of New York, and we are excited to bring players like this into the community to be the image of this team", said Matt Custer, GM of Binghamton Indoor Football on Tuesday.
"I can't wait to play football again." said an enthusiastic Olchovy. "Since I'm from the Empire State, it will be exciting to play for Binghamton and represent my state with honor as I do with my job. I hope Binghamton is excited as I am for this season."
