Amarillo Venom Owner Goes Behind Bars for a Good Cause
Amarillo,TX 8/25/11- Amarillo Venom Owner Stephanie Tucker is going behind bars today for the Muscular Dystrophy Association's (MDA) Amarillo Lock-Up, benefiting children in the Texas Panhandle diagnosed with MD.
"This is a great organization to work with and I was ecstatic when they asked me to be a part of such a fun and beneficial event," said Tucker.
Tucker was challenged with task of raising her bail to help send two children diagnosed with Muscular Dystrophy to the West Texas MDA Summer Camp. Over the past few weeks she has been working hard to raise her bail using the Amarillo Venom Facebook Page, the Venom Website, and her personal connections.
"The Venom fans, along with my family and friends, have been very supportive during this time and I couldn't have done it without them." said Tucker.
The Lock-up takes place today August 25 at Noon. With the help of local law enforcement officers, Stephanie Tucker will be arrested at the Venom Office's located at 901 S. Buchanan and transported to MDA's "Maximum-Appreciation Facility" at the Texas Roadhouse where she will be sentenced and held for one hour.
The AMARILLO VENOM is a proud member of the Indoor Football League.
