LAKE CHARLES, La. - Led by five Columbus Lions and three Houston Stallions on the first team, the Southern Indoor Football League announced its all-league selections Thursday, July 7, 2011.
Columbus and Houston each had seven players selected overall, The Lions had five on the first team and two on the second. Houston had three on the first team and four on the second.
The Erie Explosion, Rio Grande Valley Magic, Trenton Steel and Louisiana Swashbucklers each had two first-team selections. The champion Albany Panthers had one first team selection - defensive back Lavance Richmond - and four on the second. Three extra spots were created to reflect ties in the voting.
The All-SIFL team is as follows:
