Vidswap.com's United and Intense Conference Championships Players of the Week
Richmond, VA: The Indoor Football League is proud to announce the Vidswap.com Players of the Week for the 201 United and Intense Conference Championships. Each week the IFL selects three players, one from each phase of the game, offense, defense, and specials teams, whose play on the field stood out among the rest of the competition. The Conference Championship Players of the week are listed as follows:
Offensive Player of the Week: Houston Lillard, QB, Tri-Cities Fever
Lillard has yet again led his team to a great victory and one more step closer to the United Bowl this week after defeating the Allen Wranglers and giving the Fever the title of Intense Conference Championship. In this past weekend's game Lillard threw for over 200 yards and 7 touchdowns leaving no doubt he is coming to play in Sioux Falls.
Defensive Player of the Week: Brian McIntire, LB, Sioux Falls Storm
McIntire exploded into the past weekends game, providing hard hitting tackles and important turnovers to help gain the title for Sioux Falls again as United Conference Champion. Brian would record 5 tackles, 1 fumble recovery, and an interception against Green Bay. Putting a halt on the Blizzard offense and helping his team to a dominating win in a very important game. McIntire will suit up again this weekend at home as he plays for the United Bowl Championship against Lillard and the Tri-Cities Fever.
