LAKE CHARLES, La. - Carlos Alsup rushed for two touchdowns, Robert Kent threw two touchdowns and rushed for another, and the Houston defense snuffed a LA two-point conversion attempt as the Stallions concluded an unbeaten regular season.
Houston took a 40-32 lead on Alsup's run with 8:31. The Bucs closed within two on Ben McLaughlin's 1-yard keeper with 2:19 to play, but Houston preserved the lead by tackling Jordan Rideaux short of the goal line.
Kent was 19 of 25 for 180 yards for Houston, while McLaughlin completed 23 of 44 passes for 192 yards, but was intercepted twice by Darvin Peterson.
PANTHERS 68 HAMMERS 51
ALBANY, Ga. - Cecil Lester threw seven touchdown passes and Demetrius McCray and Levan Richmond each recorded three interceptions as Albany clinched the second seed in the East.
Alabama led 34-25 at halftime, but the Panthers took a 40-37 lead on Lester's 14-yarder to Clenton Rafe with 7:37 left in the third quarter, than went ahead 10 on Richmond's 41-yard interception return.
Antwone Sage had three touchdown catches for Albany.
Germico McSwian had six catches for 78 yards and a score for the Hammers.

CORPUS CHRISTI, Tex. - Anthony Andre threw five touchdown passes and Corpus Christi outscored Abilene 24-0 in the third quarter to pull away to the victory.
Scott Palmer caught two TD for the Hammerheads. Larry Dockery rushed for two scores and threw for another for the Ruff Riders.

COLUMBUS, Ga. - Josh Smith caught three touchdown passes and Anthony Merritt two as Columbus closed out the season by defeated Carolina.
Damian Daniels had three interceptions. Columbus scored 23 unanswered points to pull away from a 14-12 game.
Cooter Arnold caught two touchdowns for Carolina.
